about

In our original batch of songs we wrote for the demo I wrote a song about dealing with daily life with Asperger’s Syndrome, I tried to make it universal and it wound up sounding cringe worthy, so the song was scrapped, Steve reused some of the riffs for the songs on this EP and I wrote a song about my own experience of going to gigs by myself and having panic attacks.

lyrics

Cold sweat as I enter a new environment
Find a quiet corner so I can accumulate
Busy myself with book or phone
Avoid eye contact and keep calm

Chorus:
For the love of live music
But an inability to deal with crowds
An everyday dilemma of ASD
I isolate myself so I can cope

I don’t mean to be rude
I just don’t want to be a burden on you
Hanging around, not knowing what to say
Hoping the bands play soon

Chorus

Some I know resort to booze and snort
It’s not my place to judge
We all have our ways to cope
I just don’t want to rely on a crutch

Chorus
